About Me

I'm a biologist of training researching the macroecology and sustainability of global challenges associated with interactions between humans and the biosphere, from the whole earth system to single species of microbes. I am currently a post-doctoral researcher at the Global Economic Dynamics and the Biosphere at the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences. In addition to research, I have a keen interest in international science-policy and science organisation.

This website combines both my research and organisational interests and mixes it up with pictures and social media content.

RESEARCH

I am currently starting up an independent post doctoral project at the Global Economic Dynamics and the Biosphere program at the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences.

I have a keen interest in international science-policy and science organization.

ORGANIZATIONAL WORK

I have a big interest in the international organization of scientists and in science-policy. I co-founded the International Network of Next-Generation Ecologists (INNGE) in 2010 and currently serve as the chair of the governing board. I am also governing board member of the International Association for Ecology (INTECOL).
